Radyr Scout Group

Cub Camp
We currently hold 3 camps a year.

·         Woodsmoke Camp - Usually a weekend in October.  Older Cubs who are moving on to Scouts are eligible for Woodsmoke Camp.

·         Frostbite Camp - Usually a weekend in February. Held indoors so we don’t actually get frostbite.

·         Summer Camp - May half term 3 nights, 4 days. Outdoor green field camping. A serious interaction with nature (and unnatural chemical toilets). This is what the whole year in cubs works towards.

Scouts

These are examples of the camps Scouts may be involved in. It may differ year on year.

·         Troop weekend away staying indoors for a weekend in February.

·         Summer camp  May/June

·         Malvern Challenge June 

·         Chief Scouts Award Journey– our Scouts will be given the opportunity to work through their chief scouts award and will have the chance to do either an overnight hike camp or an overnight cycle ride as part of their expedition challenge
