SCOUT POST
The main fund raising activity throughout the year used to maintain the Scout hall and provide each Beaver, Cub and Scout with weekly and additional activities is the selling of Scout Stamps.
Radyr Beavers is introducing a Scout Post Badge for the first year for each child to receive recognition and help their colony raise much needed monies.
In order for your child to earn this badge a parent or member of their family must attend one sorting day or evening and the child must deliver a minimum of one street (i.e their own street) in an attempt to spread the work load.

Sorting times are posted on the website for you to arrange a suitable evening and time to support Radyr Scouts and sort mail see Scout Post page
A list for posting cards will be placed in the Scout hall and we would appreciate if you could sign your name by your street name and any other you are able to deliver. (You will be advised when the list is in the hall).
As well as earning a badge the child who sells the most stamps will receive a prize. Perhaps you may be able to help beat the postal strike and sell some stamps in your place of work.
Your help is greatly appreciated as we have approximately 30,000 cards to sort and many hands make light work.
